Word on the street and by Slash is that STP will be planning a reunion tour sometime this summer. leadman Scott Weiland will be performing with Velvet Revolver this spring for their second album “Libertad” and after that he’ll reunite with Stone Temple Pilots for a few summer shows. She’s one of the hottest singers on the alternative music market today. If you don’t have her album ‘The Reminder’ you should check it out. There are loads of good songs on it.

Andy Rourke (bass) and Mike Joyce (drums) have reunited to add commentary to a documentary on their former band called”Inside The Smiths”. The DVD comes out in July ‘08. Morrissey and Marr will have nothing to do with it so I guess we can call it “unofficial.” (For some reason I have the image of two kids trying to recount their parents doin’ it!) But rabid Smithies are used to scraps and crumbs–and this bone might have a bit of meat to it. Here’s the promo vid:
